Flamborough Head wywodzi się z Fryzji, prowincji polozonej w
polnocnej Holandii. Nazwa grupy pochodzi od nazwy czesci brytyjskiego
wybrzeza, która to nadal grupie jej klawiszowiec Edo Spaninga. Muzyka
Flamborough Head to melodyjny symfoniczny rock, w ktorej slychac echa
takich grup jak Marillion, Pendragon, Arena, Camel itp. jednak z innym
tłem i osobistym smaczkiem, które powoduja, ze ich muzyka jest jedyna w
swoim rodzaju. W 1994 roku nowy zespol progresywny z Holandii wszedl do studia i
zrejestrowal "demo" 6 utworow. Nagrania te okazaly się na tyle
interesujace, ze otworzyly grupie mozliwosc podpisania umowy z brytyjska
firma wydawnicza Cyclops. Po wydaniu i sukcesie dwoch pierwszych
studyjnych plyt z 1998 i 2000 roku wytwornia Cyclops zdecydowala się
wydac nagrania z 1994 roku na CD w limitowanej edycji 500 szt jako "club
edition". Plyta ukazala się w 2001 roku pod tytulem "Bridge To The
Promised Land". Naklad tego wydawnictwa bardzo szybko się skonczyl i
dotarl tylko do nielicznych fanow prog-rocka. Obecnie mamy przyjemnosc
zarekomendowac to wydawnictwo -- zremasterowany w 2016 roku dźwięk,
który nie odbiega jakoscia od normalnych studyjnych produkcji oraz nowa
szata graficzna, nawiazujaca tematycznie do pierwotnego wydania, ale
zaprojektowana od nowa przez Rafala Paluszka w praktycznym digi-packu to
niewatpliwy rarytas dla wielbicieli grupy i tego gatunku
muzycznego.

neo-progressive band from 1998. FLAMBOROUGH HEAD comes from Friesland,
the province in the northern part of The Netherlands. FLAMBOROUGH HEAD's
music is 24-carat symphonic rock, very melodic and has echoes from
MARILLION, PENDRAGON and ARENA but the different musical backgrounds and
personal taste from the members (from CAMEL and AOR to blues and rock)
gives their music music an orginal twist.In 1994, a new progressive
band from the Netherlands entered the studio and
registered the "demo" with 6 songs. These recordings turned out to be so
interesting, that they opened to the group the possibility of signing an
agreementwith the British publishing company Cyclops. After the release and success of the first two
studio albums from 1998 and 2000 the British label Cyclops decided to
release recordings of 1994 on CD in limited edition of 500 pieces as "club
edition ". The album was released in 2001 under the title "Bridge To The
Promised Land. " The edition of the album finished quickly and reached
only a few fans of prog-rock. Currently, we have pleasure
to recommend this release -- remastered sound in 2016, which
quality does not differ from normal production studio and a new artwork,
referring to the theme of the original edition, but
redesigned by Rafal Paluszek in practical digi-pack.
The undoubted rare for fans of the group and the music style.
