Abysal to drugie wydawnictwo znakomitego gitarzysty z Górnego Śląska w ciągu dość krótkiego czasu. Adam Jurczyński inspiruje się muzyką rockową, prog-metalową oraz instrumentalną, ale nie do końca, jak pokazuje ta "nowa" płyta. Muzyk wielu projektów muzycznych m.in. Ipecacuana, Kolbyscray czy Abysal. Był członkiem zespołów Oberschlesien i New Oberschlesien. Teraz związany jest z takimi zespołami jak Drakon i Michał Stawiński Oberschlesien. Jego poprzednie wydawnictwo Beyond The Horizon to gitarowy hard-rock i prog-metal. Tym razem, jak wskazuje tytuł płyty, Adam przywrócił do życia materiał nagrany dawno temu, bo w 2002 roku. Po znakomitym masteringu, dokonanym w 2019 roku, okazało się, że świetny materiał progresywny przeleżał prawie 18 lat w szufladzie. Ponad 45 minut gitarowego, dość melodyjnego, instrumentalnego prog-rocka, uczta dla fanów gatunku i wielbicieli gitarowego grania. Melodyjne fragmenty z nie wielką domieszką, miejscami, heavy-prog-rocka, trochę przypominają dokonania francuskiego Nemo i JPL, jednak tam mamy wokal, a tu więcej przyjemnych klimatów. Mam nadzieję, że to nie ostatnia, w takim stylu, produkcja muzyka.


Abysal is the second release of an outstanding guitarist from Silesia in a fairly short time. Adam Jurczyński is inspired by rock, prog-metal and instrumental music, but not entirely, as this "new" album shows. Musician of many musical projects, among others Ipecacuana, Kolbyscray or Abysal. He was a member of the bands Oberschlesien and New Oberschlesien. Now he is associated with such bands as Drakon and Michał Stawiński Oberschlesien. His previous release Beyond The Horizon is guitar hard-rock and prog-metal. This time, as the title of the album indicates, Adam brought back the material recorded long ago, in 2002. After excellent mastering in 2019, it turned out that the great progressive material lay almost 18 years in the drawer. Over 45 minutes of guitar, quite melodic, instrumental prog-rock, a feast for fans of the genre and fans of guitar playing. Melodic fragments with not a great admixture, places, heavy-prog-rock are a bit reminiscent of the achievements of French Nemo and JPL, but there we have vocals, and here more pleasant climates. I hope it's not the last music production in this style.
